On the following June 14th 2023, the Casa-Museu Elysio de Moura will organize, in collaboration with the CIEBA – Centre for Research and Studies in Fine Arts of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, a double commemorative event: a colloquium dedicated to academic journey of the Portuguese painter Manuel Jardim [1884-1923] from the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon to La Académie Julian in Paris, in addition to an exhibition centred on the previously unpublished artistic drawings of his authorship belonging to the private collection of Elysio de Azevedo e Moura and Celestina Salgado Zenha.

The colloquium and exhibition are scientifically coordinated and curated by Milton Pedro Dias Pacheco, director of the House-Museum Elysio de Moura and integrated researcher at CHAM – Centre for the Humanities of University NOVA of Lisbon and University of Azores, and Luísa d'Orey Capucho Arruda, emeritus professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and researcher at CIEBA – Centre for Research and Studies in Fine Arts at the same faculty./p>
