
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
CHAM Editions welcomes proposals for original publications in its collections and journals, authored by CHAM researchers and external researchers.
The journals welcome submissions of article proposals, either spontaneously or following international calls for papers. For more information, please refer to the journals' websites /p>
CHAM holds a permanent call for books, directed at the national and international scientific community, in the scope of its collections Estudos & Documentos and CHAM E-Books. Submissions are expected to match the Centre's research areas or address closely related subjects.
SCIENTIFIC REFEREEING
In line with the criteria applicable to scientific publications with international circulation, proposals submitted to CHAM Editions will be subject to external scientific refereeing (double-blind peer review). The name(s) of the referee(s) will be provided in the final publication.
BIBLIOGRAPHY NORM
CHAM adopts the Chicago Manual of Style ‘Author-Data’ norm as its bibliographic standard; available online and at the Centre's Library (cota: 665(038) CHI).
COPYRIGHT
The contents of the papers are the sole responsibility of the authors and not of CHAM. Acceptance of a text for publication entails the transfer of copyright to the publisher.
Rights over any images included in the papers are the sole responsibility of the authors, and must be attested by documentary evidence. A copyright notice shall be included in the credits.
The submission of proposals implies agreement to the terms and delivery of a signed copy of CHAM's ‘Declaration of Authorship and Authorization for Publication’. .
OPEN ACCESS
All CHAM publications follow the open access policy; DOI assignment is foreseen.
After publication, CHAM reserves the right to make all contents available in open access through RUN - Repository of the NOVA University of Lisbon, under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
AUTO-ARCHIVING POLICY
Authors can deposit in any repository, without any embargo period, the publisher's final version (Final published version / Publisher's Version) made available to them.
COSTS
Submission of papers is free of charge. No charges are applied to the handling or publication of papers, chapters or books. /p>

PRIVACY POLICY
