The Center for Lusophone Studies at the University of Geneva will feature «Women in the Lusophone World» as the theme of the 2019 Fall Semester Conferences. The aim of this cycle is to make women visible as subjects and actresses of history by analyzing their ability to act, the roles that they played and the actions of resistance that they carried out, in different moments and contexts, both in Portugal and in its empire.
The Conference Cycle will be attended by CHAM Researchers Maria Barreto Dávila (09/30/2019), João Paulo Oliveira e Costa (14/10/2019) and Ana Teresa Hilário (11/11/2019).
