The idea behind this workshop is to allow its participants to become scribes for a day. By reproducing the gestures of those who left impressed on clay their acts and thoughts, we can learn more about their culture.
The ancient Mesopotamians used the clay collected on the banks of the Tigre and the Euphrates to imprint the signs of the cuneiform writing. On small tablets, Sumerians, Babylonians and Assyrians recorded, for centuries, their wishes and thoughts. With this workshop, we intend to approach this lost reality and to get in the day-to-day life of ancient Mesopotamia.
This event will take place on two separate dates. All those interested in participating should register for the session of May 30 or of May 31
