The Archipathologia by Filipe Montalto, published in 1614, is a very significant work, within which the Hippocratic tradition is systematised and deepened, taking into account the clinical experience of the author.
 

Within the scope of the project «Medical Art and Scientific Intelligibility in the Archipathologia by Filipe Montalto», supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, which aims at studying and translating this work, it will be accomplished at the Conde Ferreira Hospital, Oporto, in the 22th May 2015, an workshop with a double objective: to present some of the 18 treatises which compose the Archipatologia, and confront them with current Neuropsychiatry.
