A Monarquia Dual: Novas Perspetivas Historiográficas
NOVA FCSH | 17:00 - 20:00 Online

The study of the "Iberian Union" (1580-1640) has made progress in recent years in international historiography, and particularly in Iberian historiography. New data has emerged from research into documents in collections that have not yet been studied or that have recently been made available by archives, as well as from the outputs of research projects such as Re Militari or Moving City, both of which are part of CHAM and funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT)

The iconographic representation of war, the ransoms of captives as a result of war and Corsican activities, diplomacy between both sides of the Mediterranean, will be some of the themes to be addressed at this meeting that brings together researchers from both Iberian countries.
