On the 7th of November, the seminar "Reading the World, Reading the Word. Challenges in Education" will take place at schools within clusters I and V of the municipality of Santa Catarina, on Santiago Island, Cape Verde. This initiative is co-organised by the Faculty of Education of the University of Cape Verde and the Ribeira da Barca School Cluster, in partnership with the CHAM research group Information, Reading, and Writing Forms and the International Network History of Pedagogies, Cultural Heritage, and Educational Materials in Portuguese. Aimed at teachers from all school disciplines, the seminar seeks to foster reflection on common challenges in the educational process, their reinterpretations, and transformative possibilities, through an interdisciplinary dialogue between History and Education.
