On 4 January, the VII Mini-Marathon Reading Session of Moby Dick will take place at the CIAB - Interpretative Centre of Atouguia da Baleia, in Peniche, starting at 7:00 pm.

Prior to the marathon, at 6:00 PM, we invite curious readers to explore "The Whale in Atouguia", a guided tour of the CIAB exhibition.

Participation in the marathon is free and mandatory for readers of all ages. Each participant will receive, in advance, one or more excerpts from the book, along with the reading schedule and a PDF copy of the text to familiarise themselves with the material.

This initiative is organised by the New Bedford Whaling Museum, in collaboration with various local organisations, including NOVA FCSH, the Municipality of Peniche, Sesimbra, the Azores, Madeira, and Cape Verde.
