In this seventh edition, the meeting reaffirms the importance of collaborative networking, bringing together professionals in the field of heritage and museology to discuss essential issues for the sector. The following topics are on the agenda:

. Museum collections and their importance in preserving memory;
. Gender museology and the role of island museums in valorising it;
. Museums, insularity and the challenges of the digital age;
. Citizen participation in the management and dynamisation of museums;
. Sustainable development of museums and their integration into communities.

The meeting's activities will take place in various venues around the city:

. 23 October - Aula Magna of the University of the Azores
. 24 October - Natália Correia Centre
. 25 October - Azores Military Museum and Carlos Machado Museum
