For the period 2025–2029, CHAM will examine how the human and humanity have been represented across various historical periods and cultural landscapes. We will examine contexts in which various individuals and groups have created narratives of innovation and of breaking with the past, portraying themselves as ‘modern’ or representatives of a certain ‘modernity’” (Strategic Project).

In this context, the second event of the PhD Students’ Forum will be a dynamic and engaging workshop, where we will explore, through active methodologies, the meanings of what it means to be human. As PhD students are active participants in this construction of meaning, it is hoped that this workshop will yield one or more outputs developed during the event.
