Di Buon Affetto e Commerzio Relações Luso-Italianas na Idade Moderna

This volume compiles works by several researchers that show the relevance of Italian presence in the Portuguese Empire and the centrality of Lisbon in the history of this community and, in particular, the importance of the Church of Our Lady of Loreto of the Italians, built by the Italians themselves in 1518. The diversity of the subjects covered reflects the importance of interdisciplinarity in the study of Luso-Italian relations and in the socio-economic analysis of Lisbon's Italian community.
