Ana Jéssica Silva Mendonça was graduated in Archeology in 2016 and she holds a MA in Archeology from Universidade do Minho. She took part in an archaeological campaign in the site of Alcácer Ceguer in 2017 and 2019, within the project "Espaços e vivências do período português no Norte de África: cidades e vilas do “Algarve de Além-Mar” (séculos XV a XVII)" (Spaces and experiences of the Portuguese period in North Africa: cities and towns of the ‘Algarve de Além-Mar’ (15th to 17th centuries), and in another campaign in Ceuta, Llano de las Damas. At the moment, she is a PhD student at NOVA FCSH with a project funded by FCT.
