She is currently enrolled in a PhD in History (specializing in Contemporary History) at NOVA FCSH, where she is studying how the development of Korean national identity impacts South Korean diplomacy through a global and thematic analysis. Her thesis is entitled "The Role of Korean National Identity in South Korean Diplomacy (1991–2022): A Historical Analysis.". Her main research areas and interests are diplomacy in Korea, geopolitics in East Asia, and political and economic development in Korea, with a particular focus on economic diplomacy.
