André Patrício is a Clinical Psychologist and an Egyptologist. He holds an MA in both areas of knowledge and is currently a Ph.D. Fellow in Ancient History, with specialization in Egyptology, at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal. He is a Research Assistant, integrated into the "Representations, Discourses, Materialities and Uses of the Past" Group at CHAM at the same institution.
He is a Member of several international organizations of Egyptology, including the International Association of Egyptologists, The Egypt Exploration Society, and the Portuguese Association of Egyptology. He is also a peer reviewer for international publications and a European Commission Expert and Rapporteur for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) since 2021.
He has also organized several international Conferences related to History and Ancient History.
