My present research is centered in the study of painting commissioned by D. Manuel I (1464-1521), trying to characterize it as a corpus in direct relation with architecture also commissioned by this king. The three main areas of research are history of art, historiography of art and curatorial exhibition programs related with that painting. Last November (2015) I finished my PhD, History of Art/Museology and Artistic Heritage: 40 years in permanent display in Museu Calouste Gulbenkian.
