This conference intends to rethink the complexity of this approach to reality, a universal way of thinking, one that envisages figurations of alternative worlds, whether in the past or in the future. It does so within a principle of reasonableness in human coexistence and the way it is organised socially, culturally and politically, the different models it has generated, the effects it has on life itself, the values it tends to summon, and the forms it takes today.
