Colloquium 08.11.2019 to 09.11.2019
«Fundamentals of Philosophical Practice: at the Frontiers of Philosophy and Culture»
10h00-18h30 | NOVA FCSH — Tower A, Auditorium 001
Philosophical practice is a domain of reflection on the frontiers of philosophy. It supposes the intersection of privileged methodologies in philosophy with those that come from other domains of knowledge and action. Designed to serve ethical, social and identity questions in areas such as clinical, bioethics, biopolitics and self-care, philosophical practice is increasingly affirming itself as a way of revitalizing the presence of philosophy in society. The Colloquium «Fundamentals of Philosophical Practice: at the Frontiers of Philosophy and Culture» brings together a set of experts to propose a training in the area that combines theoretical debate with the development of essential skills.
