Seminar «Tabaco, azúcar, esclavos y fiscalidad en los mundos atlánticos (siglos XV-XX)», coordenated by Santiago de Luxán Melendez (ULPGC) and João de Figueirôa-Rêgo (CHAM), as a part of the XXIII Coloquio de Historia Canario Americana and XII Encuentro Internacional de la Asociación de Historiadores Latinoamericanos y del Caribe (ADHILAC).
The Permanent Seminar of the History of Tobacco is the result of a signed cooperation between Portuguese and Spanish universities, created to develop studies of comparative analysis between the tobacco monopolies of the Iberian Crowns and their Empires between the 17th and 19th centuries.
