The VI edition of the seminar, on the occasion of the 16th Anniversary of the Extension and Remodeling of the Maritime Museum of Ílhavo, will be dedicated to "Tragic-Maritime History". 

This seminar, open to all, brings together the best specialists in literature, art and history. By approaching the roots of this central narrative of maritime culture and its contemporary approaches, we propose a reflection on Portugal's relationship with the sea and a debate on this timeless theme of maritime tragedy. A special visit to the Tragic-Maritime History exhibition and a roundtable on the refugee tragedy and on the role of the Portuguese Navy stand out in the program.
