This Permanent Seminar’s goal is to contribute to the growing development of the history of women, based on the work of national and international researchers, from different fields and methodologies. By joining peninsular history with the history of the Portuguese and Spanish Empires, this initiative is specially focused on the disclosure of recent studies developed for the African, Asian and American spaces during the Early Modern Age. Based on their studies and professional fields, researchers will address the topic of Women from an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective.
