As part of the "Science and Technology Week 2013," CHAM established a collaboration protocol for the school year 2013/2014 with the Escola Básica e Secundária da Povoação – Escola Básica 1,2,3/JI das Furnas, S. Miguel, Açores, to promote, support, and carry out the necessary actions for the development of a local history laboratory project "Raízes Project."
The training program will consist of five training modules covering the following topics: History of the Azores; Cultural Heritage; Methods of Inventory and Heritage Classification; Introduction to Archaeology; and Museography.
This workshop is under the responsibility of researcher Wellington Nascimento (CHAM).
