The Adventure of Philosophizing
Philosophizing is an adventure, says Margarida I. Almeida Amoedo, who has long been dedicated to Hispanic thought, particularly the work of the Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. The researcher discusses the concepts of heroism, salvation, love, circumstance, fraternity, and dignity. Margarida I. Almeida Amoedo is a researcher integrated at CHAM-Center for the Humanities. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Évora, where she is an Associate Professor. She has mainly taught courses in Axiology, Ethics, and Philosophy of Education. Her research has primarily focused on the thought of Ortega y Gasset and the axiological thematization of educational problems.
