The Niballo Palio di Faenza is one of the most exciting historical events in Italy, reviving the ancient medieval traditions of Faenza. For over 67 years, this equestrian tournament, held on the fourth Sunday of June, transforms the city into a genuine journey back to the 15th century. The five districts of Faenza compete in horse races and lance-throwing, creating a unique spectacle, always preceded by a majestic historical parade featuring over 500 participants, including iconic flag bearers and musicians.
