Lua, Fronteira da Terra
The landing of Apollo 11 was a historical event celebrated worldwide. It had a decisive influence on both subsequent space exploration work and everyday life on Earth, as well as on the popular imagination. In this volume, the Moon is seen as a frontier, in its dual role as the Earth’s only satellite and a planet in its own right, analyzing how these two facets have led to different intellectual and emotional approaches to the Moon.
