Fausto Camacho Fialho completed his Bachelor's degree in History in 2016, as well as his Master's degree in History, Civilizations of the Middle East and Ancient Asia in 2019 from the NOVA FCSH. Completed the doctoral year in History, in the Ancient History branch, at the same institution, with an average of 18 points, in December 2020. Currently, he is attending the PhD course in History, in the field of Ancient History. He has been a Researcher at CHAM since 2019. He has developed his academic work on the subject of the History of China, as well as its religiosity. More specifically, he focused his Master's thesis on the path of Mahayana Buddhism on the terrestrial Silk Road, and on the process of accommodation of this religion into the religious and cultural framework of the Middle Country during the Tang period (618 - 907 AD), namely using resources Chinese Buddhist religious art. He also participated in congresses and other events with communications on Chinese religious themes, as well as on religiosity and art on the Silk Road. To the date, he has also published two articles on these topics.
