Ana Teresa Hilário is an integrated researcher at CHAM and a PhD student at NOVA FCSH, where she is developing the thesis "Rebanho de cândidas cordeiras? Género, regulação e resiliência no Convento de Santa Mónica de Goa (1606-1734)". She holds a MA in Early Modern History (NOVA FCSH, 2016) and a degree in History (NOVA FCSH, 2014). Her research interests are focused on the political and religious institutions in the 17th-century "Estado da Índia". At the moment, she has also researched on Women History, namely on the place of women in colonial societies.
