Eva Pires completed her degree in Archaeology in 2017 and her MA in Archaeology in 2019 at NOVA FCSH. Her academic training included periods of internship at various national and international archaeological sites. She was an archaeologist at the company Clay Arqueologia Unipessoal Lda. from 2019 to 2021, where she was part of the scientific management of various archaeological projects in the municipality of Lisbon. She works in the areas of Archaeology and Archaeozoology, developing research focused on the theme of daily life in the late medieval and early modern periods through the study of various archaeological materials, namely faunas and ceramics. She became an integrated researcher at CHAM in 2021 and collaborated on the project Almada Velha: heritage valorisation of the historic urban core.
