In her extensive literary production, Belén Gopegui has reflected on dominant narratives, the inconsistencies of neoliberal capitalism, and the possibilities of constructing a dissenting imagination through literary texts. Collective organization occupies a fundamental place in her texts, and this conference will present a proposal for reading focused on the discussions it raises.
Cristina Somolinos Molina: PhD in Literature from the University of Alcalá, with a thesis on the representations of women's work in contemporary Spanish narrative. Her interests revolve around the intersection between feminist studies and the historiography of Spanish literature, as well as the study of literary sources in their relationship with social processes. She has been a visiting researcher at the Università degli Studi di Bergamo, the Université Bordeaux Montaigne, and the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and has participated in seminars, congresses, and publications related to her research field.
