In the year marking the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, the international project "Transición. Discursos y relatos de la Transición" promotes in Lisbon the Colloquium "The 25th of April and the European cultural perspective: history and literature in relation to other arts" on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th, in a co-organization between CHAM (NOVA FCSH-UAc) and the Institute of Art History (NOVA FCSH/FCSH/ IN2PAST), with the support of the Museum of Aljube-Resistance and Freedom and the Saramago Foundation.
The colloquium includes roundtable discussions on music, literature, and cinema, and presentations by about 30 researchers from various European universities. The participation of writers Isabela Figueiredo, João Pedro Mésseder, and Rita Cruz, filmmaker Susana Sousa Dias, and musicians Rogério Charraz and Tiago Santos, among others, has already been confirmed.
