Catarina Felício holds a degree (2016) and an MA (2019) in Archaeology from the NOVA FCSH. In 2017, she attended a semester at the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre, under the Erasmus + Programme. She works in the field of Archaeology, with an emphasis on Roman Archaeology. Her MA dissertation is in the field of Urbanism and Urban Sanitation in the Roman period by focusing on the archaeological site of Chãos Salgados in Santiago do Cacém, identified as the city of Mirobriga. He has co-authored articles published in specialised journals and congresses and has also contributed to a book chapter. In 2014, she received the "Prémio Caloiros da NOVA", now known as the NOVA Young Talent Awards, for Archaeology, awarded by the Rectory of NOVA University of Lisbon. In 2016, she received the Merit and Excellence Award for the best graduates, awarded by NOVA FCSH. She is currently working on a PhD project in History, with specialisation in Archaeology, at NOVA FCSH. Her project approaches the design and construction processes of public architecture in Roman times, focusing on buildings from Mirobriga. The project is funded by FCT (DFA/BD/6757/2020) and is hosted by CHAM and EEHAR-CSIC, Escuela Española de Historia y Arqueologia en Roma (the Spanish School of History and Archaeology in Rome).
